Drivers must be above 21 years old for all vehicles with the exception of Group J, K, L, R and Q (BMW vehicles) where the minimum age is 25 years and above. Maximum age for drivers is up to 65 years old.
Drivers must possess a valid driving licence for at least a year. Driving licence NOT in English must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP). Singaporeans must process a valid Singapore Driver’s Licence as required by the Singapore Traffic Police.

Unlimited third-party liability and property damage of up to S$5 million per incident. Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is also included in the rates. However, Hirer is always responsible for the amount of “Non Waiverable Damage Excess (NWDE)”.

Delivery service is available on request. The delivery fee is S$50 per trip. Delivery service are only applicable to operating hours between 0900 hrs – 1730 hrs.
Driving into Malaysia is permitted, however a daily surcharge applies: S$100 (Groups J, K, L, R) or S$50 for all other groups. Vehicles may travel into Malaysia but must be returned to Singapore.
4 days minimum rental period applies for One-way rental into Malaysia (Not applicable to Groups J, K, L, Q and R), and must be return to either of the following locations: Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan or Penang. Additional charges of applies. Please note that driving into Malaysia requires Loss Damage Waiver (LDW). Cars may not be driven to Thailand.

All Singapore Hertz vehicles are strictly prohibited from being driven into Thailand.

Hirer may choose to purchase PAI for a coverage of up to S$100,000 at a fee of S$5 per day for all cars. PAI covers death, permanent disablement and second & third degree burns.
Hirer can opt to purchase windscreen coverage to protect against windscreen damages.
